It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas!

Aidan and Avery had their Christmas program at school and it was terrific! It was called Angels Aware and it was really neat to see all of the elementary school kids dressed alike as angels. The music teacher did a great job!

Both kids performed with their church choirs this past Sunday night:

Avery had her dance recital today (they kept it low key and had them perform at the end of their class instead of scheduling a weekend performance...thank goodness!):

We also visited Santa at Northpark, our yearly tradition! We went with our friends the Denneys (David always goes and gets our ticket early so we don't have to wait for hours, thanks David!). The kids had a sweet visit with Santa, then we all went to the Scrooge puppet show, then dinner, then looked at Christmas lights in Highland Park:

I celebrated my birthday a little early along with my friend Susan, also a December baby, with our buddies:
