Anniversary Trip to California!
Daniel and I took a trip to northern California to celebrate our 15th anniversary! We spent the first two nights in San Francisco. We decided to take a bike-riding tour across the Golden Gate bridge which sounded fun (and the gate part was) but there was so much more biking from the bike shop to the bridge than we thought! On the other side of the bridge we biked down to Sausalito for a delicious lunch and then rode the ferry back over the bay, then more biking back to the shop. We could hardly move that night!
The next day we drove to Monterrey where we stayed for three nights, and one of those days we drove to Big Sur with our friends Tom and Mirna who were staying in the same area. We drove alone the coast and had lunch outdoors in the mountains. It was gorgeous!
Thank you Grammy for coming to stay with our kids, and for putting up with our roof being worked on the entire time we were gone! She took the kids to swim with the Fort Worth Jollys, and gave Avery cooking camp!
Happy 90th Birthday Great Pa!
My grandfather turned 90 this past week and last weekend his whole family drove to Abilene to help him celebrate! The kids got to see their Lewis 2nd-cousins Hannah, Miriam, Cora, Carys, and Jackson.
We also got to spend some fun time with Grammy, Papi, Uncle Jason, and Aunt Kelly!
Friends and Neighbors!
We had a fun block party with our neighbors! A few of us organized it, we rented bounce houses for the kids, and everyone pitched in and brought stuff for dinner! We love our neighborhood!
We also got together for another Girls Night Out with just the moms!
We went with my friends Tracey and Amy and their girls to a place called Obstacle Warriors Kids and it was awesome! All the kids loved it, especially Aidan. Look out, American Ninja Warriors!
