Valentine's Day Dinner

For Valentine's Day this year, someone in our friend group had a great idea to have the guys make dinner for the girls! It ended up being delicious and SO much fun! They set a beautiful table, dressed the part in tuxedo t-shirts, and fed us lobster, steak, a shrimp appetizer, cheesy potatoes, spinach artichoke dip, salad, mojitos, and dessert! After our lovely dinner, the guys went on the patio to watch a fight on TV, and the girls had a dance party inside. It was SUCH a fun night and the guys may have to do this for us every year!

February Miscellaneous

We started the month off with a visit home from Aidan! He wanted to take his car to school so we flew him home and he drove back. While he was here he took Summer out for an early Valentine's Day dinner and then we all went out for a steak dinner. Stella also got to meet her big brother for the first time and I think she approves!

And speaking of Stella, she is doing great and getting very spoiled by us! She got her spay surgery so she moved a little slow for a couple of weeks. But we've had plenty of snuggles, and she managed to convince me and Daniel that yes, she can fit in the bed with us! We are having to get used to her young dog energy since Griffin was very low-key his last few years. She walks (and car rides!) and running around the backyard although she is a mama's girl right now and wants me out there with her! 

We had lots of fun with our friends! We hosted a Superbowl party, celebrated Melody's birthday, I went to see Hadestown with Hollie, and Daniel and I had a date night!
