This and That

Some odds and ends from September! We got to dog-sit Chloe while Tracey and David went to Samford to visit Kaelyn! She is so sweet and spoiled (which we loved) and it was great to snuggle with a floppy-eared friend since we have been missing Griffin so much. 

Daniel and I went to Miami for the PWC Partners trip! It was up in the air if we'd be able to go because of Hurricane Helene, but we lucked out and despite some rain the first day of our trip, it cleared up and we enjoyed lots of relaxation!

Parents Weekend

We were so excited to see Aidan during Parents Weekend at Arkansas! We hadn't seen him in over a month and it was great to see him in his element. He stayed with us at our VRBO near campus (which was a fun mid-century modern bungalow!) and we were able to walk to the stadium. It was an awesome game and the Hogs won! 

Homecoming!

 Avery's Homecoming was early this year! Luckily we found a dress that she loved, and we took pictures of her with two friends before they headed off to the dance. Earlier that week she participated in the parade, pep rally, and game! Since she is a Wrangler this year, she gets to be a big part of the festivities and is having so much fun!

 

Back to School for Avery!

Avery started her junior year (with fresh highlights of course!), and for the first time ever I didn't have to drive anyone to school on the first day! 

She's going to have a busy year with DOLLS (they had an officer retreat before school started - she's a chaplain this year), choir, NHS, theater tech, and she is also starting the Animal Science Program at the career/technical center! She is also a Wrangler and gets to cheer on the Mustangs from the sidelines and run on the field with flags when the team runs on or scores a touchdown!
