All About Aidan
Aidan just started running track for the first time and is doing great! He's had two meets and has run the 100m, the 200m, the 4x400 relay, and the 4x100 relay. Run Aidan Run!
He is in choir this quarter and the 7th grade choir got to help sing at their middle school chapel. Could these boys BE more excited to be there?
He also went to his school dance! At this age they're not really allowed to take dates, which I think is great because it makes it more fun and relaxed. All the 7th grade boys met at a pizza place to eat beforehand, followed by a photo session so their moms could capture their handsomeness. He said the dance was a lot of fun!
Spring Break
Spring Break is always Daniel's busiest times at work, so the kids and I are usually on our own! This year I decided to take them down to San Antonio for some fun at the Alamo, Riverwalk, and Sea World! We stopped in Waco and ate at my favorite food truck at the Magnolia silos, and we also listened to an audio book (Matilda!) during the drive. Our hotel was an old historic hotel just steps from the Alamo, and a couple blocks from the Riverwalk. It was great! After visiting the Alamo, we met up with my cousin Jeff and Barb, Tyler, and Clara for dinner! After lunch on the Riverwalk the next day, I took them to Sea World where Avery got to swim with a dolphin which was really neat! After another dinner on the Riverwalk that night, we checked out the next morning and headed to Waco where the kids got to spend the night with Grammy while I hung out with Jenna.

2019 So Far
January and February typically aren't crazy-busy for us so here's some of what we've been up to!
We made it official that we are moving back to Wylie this summer! We will miss our Fort Worth school and friends but are excited to be back on the other side of town. The kids have been accepted to Wylie Preparatory Academy where some of their friends go. We are excited about it! When we went for our family interview, Avery's friend Ryleigh had been waiting to give her a hug!
We went to say good-bye to Grandpa and Nanna's home in Crawford before they move to a new house in Waco! We will miss this place as well as Rusty the horse. Lots of childhood memories made here for the kids! We watched the Super Bowl with the Dixons, Halls, and Cookie! We split up for a Mother/Son fondue date night and a Father/Daughter steak and macaroni date night! Avery and I went to my cousin Tracey's baby shower! We always love goofing off with the Jolly family. Avery had Western Day at school and also went with me and her friend Ava to see Cinderella at her school! Aidan finished up basketball! Griffin is still...Griffin!
