Before Things Went Crazy

Avery had her Cotillion Ball and looked so beautiful! She got to get her hair done at Drybar, and got to reuse her dress from Aunt Kathleen's wedding! Her date was also very handsome and they had a great time!
Aidan started his first season of baseball! He has not played baseball since T-ball before he started kindergarten. But he picked it up quickly! His first time at bat he hit a double but then was out because he "threw" the bat. The parents on our team were pretty unhappy with the ref for not giving him a warning, but oh well. Baseball is a whole new sport for us but I'm proud of him for trying something new!

Keep Austin Weird

I spent a fun-filled weekend in Austin with my two KD buddies Leslie and Jen! I always have such a blast with them...we party hard until about 9:45 and then we're in our pj's watching Netflix crime documentaries in our hotel bed. I wouldn't change a thing!
I also got to see my Jolly girl cousins (and babies Liam and Anna Claire!!) for dinner one night! Gwen has taken over the role of Girl Scout Cookie supplier so making cookie purchases was a good excuse for us to get together!

Valentine's Day Weekend!

Our church's DiscipleNow fell on Valentine's Day weekend which Daniel and I were thrilled about! After we dropped them off on Valentine's Day, we went to Wylie to have a progressive dinner with our old neighbors! It was so fun going from house to house and hanging out with our buddies. I swear all the husbands were there, although they didn't seem to make it into any of our pictures! The next night he and I went out for a romantic dinner, then picked the kids up from church the next day!

School Fun: Aidan Edition

Aidan went on a 3-day trip with his class to Georgetown to visit Innerspace Caverns, Houston to visit NASA, and Galveston to visit the beach and an aquarium!
He finished up basketball season and had his football and basketball banquets!

School Fun: Avery Edition

Avery finished up cheer season and had a great time at the cheer banquet!
All the girls in her grade got together for some "Galentine's Day" frozen yogurt!
She ran in the school's fun run (thanks Grandpa and Nanna and Papi and Grammy for sponsoring her and supporting our school!) although I think she enjoyed the petting zoo much more than the running!
She also made an atom model for science!
