Grown-Up Time

We celebrated back-to-school with our buddies and had a great time! Karli hosted her annual mom's swim party, and then we played Song Bingo at Monica's which was SO much fun!!

Back to Arkansas

We enjoyed having Aidan home for summer break and of course he and Summer enjoyed lots of time together! She is going to Oklahoma Christian University to play volleyball, so we took her and Aidan to a fancy dinner, then I took this cute picture of all three kids before they dispersed to three different states!  

We moved Aidan into the apartment he's sharing with his friends Cade, Jonathan, and Evan. They all have their own rooms and bathrooms which is nice. He bought an electric scooter to get to and from campus, plus they're right on the bus route and he has his car. Here's to a great sophomore year at Arkansas!

Avery's Senior Year!

I feel like we just had a senior, but now it's Avery's turn! She started her senior year and did all the things including senior portraits (stunning!!! and I can't believe I have no more school pictures to put in my hall frames!), senior sunrise and painting her senior spot! Daniel painted the base layer, and our talented friend Mike outlined the design that Avery picked out. Then the next day Avery and Jack and I painted it! A freak storm came out of nowhere when we were almost done and while it only ruined a tiny bit of what we had just painted, we got soaked while trying to keep our big canopy from flying away!
