So long Brownies!

Our Brownie troop bridged to Juniors last week! It was very bittersweet as we have been with half these girls since kindergarten (the other half joined along the way!). The girls had a "Tell Your Story" presentation for the parents on the things they have done as a troop for their community, then after each girl bridged we enjoyed cake, pictures, and a slideshow! We have had SO much fun being their leaders, but with us moving and with Ambrielle moving up in gymnastics, it just didn't make sense for Kimberly and I to continue. I might find a troop in Fort Worth for Avery to join, but for now I am happy to hang up my leader hat!

A new chapter!

We are moving to Fort Worth this summer! We are sad to leave our house, neighborhood, and friends but excited about our new house, new school, and the chance to be closer to Daniel's work. We closed last week, and yesterday we went to the new house so Daniel could work on some things and the kids (and Griffin) could check it out and explore the neighborhood!

Aidan's Big Day

Aidan's class had their 5th Grade Gala at school and it was the first of many tears that I'm sure I will be shedding this spring! It is so crazy to see how these kids have grown from little kindergarteners into big kids going into middle school (although Aidan has a bonus year of elementary at his new school which goes through 6th!).
He then had his guitar recital that night. He didn't have solos this year but was chosen to play in the ensemble band! We will miss his guitar teacher Mr. Rob so much!
