New Year, New School!

Aidan and Avery started 6th and 4th grade at Southwest Christian School! We are really excited about our new school and look forward to meeting new friends. Avery has Mrs. Knieper, and Aidan has Mrs. Cockrum for homeroom (although he navigates his own schedule like a middle schooler). Looking forward to a great year!

Wrapping Up Summer

I took the kids to the Fort Worth Zoo the week before school started. We had always heard it was awesome but had never been (Dallas Zoo is pretty awesome too, and it was closer!). We loved it!

We also did our annual trip to Burger's Lake with the Denney Girls! What once was a day trip is now 10 miles from my house! We had a great time, and Avery even mustered up the courage to go off the high dive! SO proud of her!!!

Our school had Meet The Eagles, where the kids got to do cheer and football camps! It was HOT but fun!

Mabank Family Vacay

We took a mini-trip to Mabank with the Waggoner family for a few days of fun! Daniel found a house for us to all stay in which was right near a fishing pond. We fished, ate, played games, and enjoyed the lovely above ground swimming pool (ha!). Griffin also had his first official experience with a dog-sitter and he had a great time!
