Summer Fun!

Aidan got to start off the summer with a fun new accessory...braces! Avery and I went to a Hugh Jackman concert, and she did VBS with her friend Ryleigh. She and Sage also spent the weekend in Granbury with Cookie where they worked on math and science, did crafts, swam, and hiked!

Meanwhile, back at home...

While Daniel and I were in Key West, Aidan went to youth camp with his friend Brady, and Avery stayed with Grammy. We had painters coming to do the inside of our house while we were gone, so the two of them stayed nearby at a local hotel and got to see Hudson (who was staying with Kelly's mom) and Meredith! Papi flew in and they picked up Aidan from camp, and took Avery to cheer camp. Daniel and I got home in time to pick her up the next day, then we had all the Lewis's over for a Father's Day lunch!

Key West

Daniel and I took a FUN trip to Key West with Jason and Kelly! We stayed at the Casa Marina Waldorf-Astoria which was right by the beach. We lounged by the pool, walked to town to eat and shop, took a sunset snorkel cruise, went to a trivia night at a local bar, and really enjoyed hanging out with each other!

Home Sweet Home!

We've been "back home" for a week and back in the swing of things with old friends, new friends, and activities! We had Daniel's family over for Memorial Day, and Aidan and Sage had middle-school basketball camp. We had the Sikes kids, the Ford kids, and a new friend from Wylie Prep that Avery will be in cheer with over to swim, and we also had Tracey and Kaelyn over to swim as well (they also sent us some delicious cookies as a house-warming gift!). It feels so good to be back!

Another Big Move!

The day school was out, Avery, Aidan, and Griffin went to stay with Grandpa and Nanna while we made the big move back to the Dallas area! We sold our Fort Worth house to a family at our school without even having to list it, and our new house is in Garland! It came on the market at the perfect time for us to get out of our Wylie build that was taking forever to get started, and it's just perfect for us! Pool, great layout, lots of land, and a barn for Daniel's workshop! As soon as the movers brought in the last box, Daniel and I dropped everything and went on a birthday booze cruise for our friend Tunisia with our old neighbors. We have missed our friends so much and are so glad to be back!
