Aidan tried his first meat tonight. Until now he's eaten everything I've ever offered him, but tonight he had mixed emotions. I had to disguise it with carrots to get him to eat it. I'm sure he'll get used to it eventually. In his defense, the stuff does smell pretty funky.

OMG that face cracks me up. Try the beef. Jack lapped it up. The chicken was gray and nasty so I never did that one....... poor Aidan.
One night when you were a toddler Dad was trying to get you to eat and he said, "Lauren, eat your moot." (He was trying to say meat and/or food and they ran together.) You got mad and cried, "Daddy, it's not MOOT! It's CHICKEN!" We've said that ever since. Tell Aidan it's not moot. It's chicken! Love, Mom
