December This and That

December was BUSY!!!! We had so many holiday and birthday parties it was hard to keep up. It was so great having Aidan home! 

Avery sang in a few school and choir concerts:

And Daniel and I went on a couple of date nights and treated ourselves to a birthday dinner!

Friend Time

Two of my besties celebrated birthdays this month! For Tracey's 50th, we all gathered at my house for champagne and snacks and then went out for dinner. She and I also went to see The Outsiders which was great!

Karli invited us all to celebrate her birthday at Capital Grille, one of our favorite fancy places! So much fun!

Avery and I had a girls' weekend with Jenna (and our dogs) at the ranch! It was so much fun and we did a whole lot of nothing!

After Thanksgiving, we brought leftovers to the Trans' house for a fun Friendsgiving!

Family Time

We weren't up to too much in November! Avery and I took one last college tour to Tarleton State and we both really liked it!

Aidan came home for Thanksgiving and he and I happened to get speeding tickets on the same day (his first ever, and my first in a while!), oops!

The day before Thanksgiving, we met Papi and Grammy at the ranch for a yummy chicken fried steak lunch! I didn't get any pictures of them, but Grammy took some of us!

On Thanksgiving, we had the Dixons, the Halls, and Cookie over for turkey, ham, dressing, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and lots of dessert!

Senior Pics

Avery had her senior pics taken at Highland Park Village shopping center and a nearby park, which had some great backdrops. Carol (our favorite photographer from Wylie Prep who also took Aidan's senior pics) did NOT disappoint and Avery's turned out stunning! Jack also came to help make her smile, and it worked!
