Happy New Year!

We rung in 2025 at the Pecorinos' who had a hibachi company make dinner for us on their back patio! It was SO much fun and had all the elements of a hibachi dinner including catching food and (for some of us) sake in our mouths! Diana had decorated everything so cute and the theme was black and gold! Avery brought her friend Kylie (Aidan was doing his own thing with Summer) and we had game night and lots of laughs! We were ready to say good-bye to 2024 so this was a fun way to welcome the new year!

Miscellaneous December Fun

It's been great having Aidan home for a month, even if he is spending more time with Summer than with us! He had a great first semester at Arkansas and we are so proud of him.

I won lottery tickets to see Peter Pan the day after Christmas, so I took the kids and Summer. We also ran into their friends Riley and Colt!

Daniel needed some hotel stays to upgrade his status by the end of the year, so he and I stayed at the Adolphus one night after Christmas! We also had fun celebrating our birthdays and other fun nights with friends.

Merry Christmas!

We went to Waco for a couple of days to see Papi, Grammy, Jason, Kelly, and Hudson! Their house is always decorated so festive and beautiful for Christmas! We had a yummy prime rib dinner, and then a chicken fried steak lunch for my early birthday!

The four of us left Christmas Eve to come home, and went to the Christmas Eve service at church. We had a relaxing Christmas morning at our house, and then went to Del Frisco's for dinner for my birthday!

We had a belated Christmas with the Dixons and Halls, and then we went to the ranch to be with the Steward family where I made Daniel a personalized birthday cherry cobbler!

Avery's Busy Month

Avery ended her first semester of her junior year with a bang! She had her senior ring ceremony and asked her algebra teacher from 9th grade, Mr. Kitchen, to present it to her. I cannot believe we are already doing senior year things!

Also, she rode in the Sachse Christmas Parade with the Wranglers, had two Christmas performances with school choir, and one with church choir. Over her break she got to see her friend Tiffany and also spent the night with Auntie Jenna and did some volunteer work with her!
