Colossal Coaster World

Last week was VBS at our church. Colossal Coaster World seemed to be a very popular theme this year :) I started out just doing registration, taking pictures, and being a floater, but ended up helping the teacher in Avery's class. It was a very energetic class (lots of boys). Cousin Sage came with Avery, and Aidan's friends Kaelyn and Hayden came too. It was lots of fun!

Horseback Riding & Dancing

I forgot to share these pictures from the horseback riding day camp that Avery did with some friends a couple weeks ago!

That night we went to Kyoto to eat hibachi and celebrate Uncle Cody and Uncle Jason's birthday (they both turned 31 that week). Compare the top picture to the bottom picture of the kids on the same bench a year ago :)

Avery and Cousin Sage also did a mini-session of Combo I (ballet and tap) and had a recital for the parents at the end of their last class. Avery wasn't that into the ballet routine but seemed to do a little better with the tap!

Family Vacay

We just spent a few days in Lampasas with Gigi, Cookie, Jeff, Uncle Cody, Aunt Amy, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Jason, Sage, Logan, and Ellie! We had found a big 5-bedroom house to rent right off of Sulfur Creek, a feeder from Lake Lampasas. The kids swam in the pool and had a blast just hanging out together. Daniel, Cody, and Jason took them fishing and Aidan caught one (Daniel did too but I don't have a picture). We all took turns making the meals, played games, and of course kept up with the Royal Baby news (well, some of us)! It was great just getting away and spending time together :)
