Preschool Graduation!

Today was Aidan's last day of preschool....FOREVER! He's been going to MDO at our church since he was 16 months old and I can't believe he won't be going there anymore. Here are some pictures from their graduation today. When walking across the stage they were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. Aidan's answer was "a storm trooper driving a monster truck." Ha! He has made some truly awesome friends over the years and I'm so sad they're all going to different schools next year. But Aidan has already been talking about the new friends he hasn't met yet. Bring it on, kindergarten!!

Weekend in Waco

Daniel's youngest brother Jacob graduated from high school this past weekend in Waco. I was such a picture slacker and didn't take many...here's the only one I got of the Steward men! When I started dating Daniel, Jacob was two years older than Aidan. So watching him walk across the stage made me feel super old. We also got to go to church the next morning to see our best friends' daughter Katy get baptized. Again...any pictures of Katy? Nope. But here's me with Jenna and her little sister Meredith. I have known both of these girls for years and they always make me laugh!

Field Day!!!

The kids had Field Day at MDO yesterday. Aunt Amy was there for Sage and Avery's class (so most of these are her pictures), and I went later to take pictures of Aidan's class. My camera wasn't working so I switched it from Automatic to Manual, but the pictures came out a little blurry :(

Random stuff

We've had a pretty low-key week. On Tuesday a few other moms and I went up to volunteer at MDO so the teachers could enjoy their Teacher Appreciation luncheon! I hardly get to see the kids in their routine at school so it was fun to see them eat lunch with their friends. I have unbelievable respect for their teachers :) One hour supervising them wore me out...I can't imagine doing it on a regular basis!

Yesterday my KD buddy Leslie was in town for a graduation so a few of us had lunch together and saw a movie (Bridesmaids - hilarious!!)

A few weeks ago we went to the park with Sage and Logan. Here's a cute cousin picture we got! (Aidan is wearing a paper hat from Chick Fil-A):

My friend Holly hosted a Royal Wedding Watching Party. I had of course gotten up to watch it live with my mom since she was in town...but I got dressed up (with a hat!) for the party :)

Viva Las Vegas!

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Daniel and I took a trip to Las Vegas this past week! He'd been a couple of times for work, but I'd never been. We stayed at the Monte Carlo and walked up and down the strip a few times and played in lots of the casinos. We ate dinner at a couple of yummy buffets and then a delicious steakhouse on our last night. On Monday night we went to see "Love," the Cirque du Soleil show set to Beatles music (thanks to my parents who treated us to the tickets)...it was fantastic!! Thanks Grammy for coming to stay with the kids while we were gone!
