Birthday and NYE Fun!

I went out with my buddies Tracey, Kimberly, Susan, Vanessa, and Jennifer to celebrate my and Susan's December birthdays!

Then I went out with the Wylie neighbor girls to celebrate my and Mindy's and Karli's birthdays!

And because we hadn't spent enough time with our Wylie neighbors this month (ha!), we celebrated NYE with them and rang in 2022!  Avery went to a slumber party at her friend Ryleigh's house, so Aidan brought Brady to our party and we all had a blast!  I also brought a cake to celebrate Daniel's birthday which was the day before!  

Basketball, Baylor, Bathroom...and Friends Round 2!

 Aidan started up basketball season this month and he got to play against GCA and two of his sweet elementary school classmates!  

He and Daniel also went to watch Baylor play (and WIN!) the National Championships!  Go Bears!

After a long two months, our master bathroom renovation was complete!  The first company we used flaked on us, then we found an awesome guy to finish the demo and complete the job!  I'm so excited to have a jetted tub again, and Daniel and I are so happy to move out of the guest room and back to our room!  (The "brown" pics are the before ones!)

Then, I surprised Avery for Christmas and took her to the Friends Experience!  I had already gone with three of my neighbor friends, but Avery is such a huge so that I didn't want her to miss out! We took Sage, my cousin Tracey, and two more of my neighbor friends!  We had to keep our masks on this time around even for pics because of all the Covid lately, but we still had so much fun!!  

Christmas!

Christmas was busy as always this year!  We celebrated with our Wylie neighbors, our Sunday School class, Avery's classmates, PWC, and Avery sang in the church choir!  After spending one night at the Brookses', we spent Christmas in Waco with Papi and Grammy, and then hung out with the entire Steward family at our ranch on our way home.  We had a belated Christmas (and celebrated Daniel's birthday) with the Dixons, Halls, Cookie, and Gigi.  A special gift to Aidan from Gigi was Grandad Waggoner's football pin when the Comanche Indians won the 1941 Bi-District Championships!  I didn't take as many pics with family as I should have, but will make up for it next year!

State Champs (Again!)

For the second year in a row, Aidan and his fellow varsity Patriots won the TCAF State Championships!  The cheerleaders decorated cars, and the boys had a fun send-off at school that morning and left in a fancy bus to take them over to Fort Worth for the game!  Papi, Grandpa, Cody, and Logan all came to cheer them on and although we were behind most of the first half, they pulled out a win!
