Colorado!

Right after my Galveston trip we turned around and headed the other direction...the mountains!  We drove to Pagosa Springs to see Jason, Kelly, and Hudson for a week!  The weather was perfect, we had a lovely place to stay (a house that Kelly's grandparents own), and we had so much fun hiking, paddleboarding, horseback riding, playing games, and goofing off with Hudson. We even brought Griffin and he loved being a mountain dog for a few days!  Even though he and Bandit could be a little territorial about their food, they got along pretty well!  

Other July Fun

I took two girls trips this month which were much-needed!  First I went to Houston to stay with my friend Jen (Leslie came in from New Orleans too!) where we vegged out like shut-ins the whole time.  We ate junk food, had all our meals delivered, and watched TV and movies in her media room...it was amazing.  

  

Then a couple weeks later I went to Galveston with my Wylie girls!  Hurricane Hanna tried to spoil our fun and we also had a house mishap where the one we booked cancelled on us right when we got to town because of a broken A/C, but we got plenty of beach time and shopping, and we had a Favorite Things party and celebrated our friend Christie's birthday!  

And as if we hadn't seen enough of our Wylie friends, we had a grown-ups only party to celebrate Mark turning 50!  The kids also had fun with their friends and went to Cookie Camp (a boys trip and a girls trip) with their cousins to Cookie's place in Granbury!
