Spring Break Part 2
On Day 2 of our trip we had lunch at Bluebonnet Cafe (a much-hyped and crowded but not very delicious restaurant) and then headed to Enchanted Rock, our highlight of the day! Only to find out that there were so many visitors over Spring Break they had to close it at capacity :( So we headed to Fredricksburg instead for some CROWDED but fun shopping! The next morning we let the kids swim at the resort, then we took a chance at a Tex-Mex restaurant which ended up being our best meal by far of the whole trip! On the way home we went to Longhorn Cavern State Park for a really neat cave tour experience! After dinner in Waco, a kolache stop in West, we headed home! Thanks for a fun trip filled with memories and laughs, Kaelyn and Tracey!
Spring Break Part 1
Most of our neighborhood friends had Spring Break the week before we did. So our Spring Break was shaping up to be on the boring side with no friends to go outside and play with! Luckily Kaelyn's Spring Break coincided with ours, so Tracey and I decided to take the kids on a mini-vacay to Hill Country! We stayed at Horseshoe Bay resort with some fun stops at Waco (to visit the Magnolia and eat at the food trucks, of course!) and Hamilton Pool along the way! That night at our resort we roasted S'mores, enjoyed a Cirque du Soleil show just for hotel guests, and had a late dinner!
Swordsmen Basketball & Cheer
Just when you thought we were done with basketball! GCA had their annual elementary basketball intramural program, and this year they added cheer to the mix! Aidan and Avery were both on the grey team and had a blast!

The End of Basketball
Both kids ended their basketball seasons this week. Hooray!!! It was such a fun season for both of them but I'm so glad to have our weeknights and Saturdays back. Aidan scored lots of points and sharpened his skills. Avery looked adorable and had fun, and even went to practice without shoes once! Way to go Rim Rockets and Eagles!!
