Broken Bow

We took advantage of our fall break coinciding with our Wylie friends' and took a family trip (minus the big college kids) to Broken Bow! Our family's schedule was a little wonky - Daniel went with the group but left early for a work trip at our ranch. Avery and I arrived late because she had oral surgery. So all 3 Stewards were only there together for a few hours, but we had so much fun! One of the boys had a friend who had the same birthday as Avery (which fell on one of the days we were there) so we celebrated them together. The house was awesome, the weather was great, and of course we had a blast with our friends as always!

We also celebrated Halloween with these same friends a couple weeks later! Avery had a game that night so Daniel and I were kid-less but we passed out candy with the grown-ups and got to see all the kids trick-or-treat! Karli told all the trick-or-treaters that we were a "multi-family situation" so that group nickname stuck and we named Frank the patriarch of the night.

All About Avery (and some Aidan and Anna Claire)

Avery had a busy October! Most importantly she celebrated her 17th birthday! It was a low-key year with no party, just dinner out and then having Olivia and Summer over to open her very huge gift - tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in New Orleans not only for her and me, but Olivia and Summer as well! She also got fun gifts from Jenna and Aunt Kathleen!

She was also inducted into National Honor Society, had a choir concert, and went on her first college tour to Texas A&M Commerce!

Aidan was also briefly in town for his fall break which allowed him to be there for Avery's birthday celebration, and of course see Summer!

I also got to keep Anna Claire for the day while Aunt Jeri and Jessica were in town with Uncle Reggie who was in the hospital. She and I had so much fun!

Football, Football, Football!

Aidan went to the Arkansas/Tennessee game which turned out to be awesome! Not only were his seats great, we spotted him on TV several times and Arkansas pulled out a major win!

We watched Avery do her Wrangler thing!

Sachse had a home game against Wylie East, so even thought we cheered for the Mustangs (and our favorite Wrangler), we sat on the visitor side with our friends so we could watch Sapphire lieutenant Ambrielle and rookie Kayden!

Finally, we watched the Texas/OU game with friends and the neutral ones wore whatever college gear we had!

Aidan's Weekend Home

While we were in Miami, Aidan came to town for the Southwest Classic game against A&M! He and Cade went with their Aggie buddies and had a blast, even though the Aggies pulled out a win. He and Summer had not seen each other since mid-August, so when he wasn't at the game he spent most of his time with her and they took early Homecoming pics since he won't be able to come back for her dance! And it was nice to have him there to stay at home with Avery since we were gone (Cookie came to keep her company one night too and got to see Aidan!). Daniel and I were bummed that we would miss him, but he ended up staying Sunday night so we got to see him for a little bit before he got up early and rode back with Cade for their afternoon classes.
