The Patriots have had a tough but great season so far! Aidan and his fellow seniors (Riley and Riley) are leading the pack and Aidan has played awesome - he is even on defense some this year. It has been so fun cheering him on, and hard to believe this is his last season to play!

Are You Ready For Some Football?
Fall Fun
We are in the swing of things with fall activities! Football is its own post, but Aidan asked Summer to Homecoming after one of her volleyball games, got his senior stole for NHS (and Summer was inducted!), drove to an Aggie game with his friend Brady, and is just generally enjoying his senior year.
Avery has been getting a lot more driving practice, and her choir sang the National Anthem before the Frisco Roughriders game!

Back to School and Other Fun for Aidan!
We hosted a back-to-school party for Aidan and his class, and celebrated them with a yard sign and a cookie cake. Hard to believe they'll be seniors!
On his last first day of school, Aidan was up early to join his grade for Senior Sunrise! I went up to school later for a Senior/Kindergarten parent breakfast and managed to sneak in a few pictures with him between his classes.
Also, he has applied to colleges (I can't believe it's happening) and got his first acceptance from North Texas!

End of Summer and Back to School for Avery!
Before school started, Avery went on an officers' retreat for DOLLS, her Bible study at school she's been part of. She was elected secretary for this coming year and is looking forward to serving!
She and her church friends "Oreo'd" one Sunday. We also got some driving practice in! Some of our neighbor friends were brave enough to be her passengers when we practiced driving on their block.
Last but not least, she started school! Her school started a couple weeks earlier than Aidan's which was a bummer for her, but he was doing football two-a-days in the heat so I don't think she would have traded places with him! I know she is going to have a great sophomore year!
