We took a family trip to Cancun with 3 fun families from our old neighborhood! It was the kids' first international trip and we had a blast. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya and had plenty of beach and pool time. Since our group was so huge it was hard to make reservations so we ate at the buffet most of the time which got old, but we made up for it with Miami Vices and mudslides!
We hosted our annual pre-July 4th party and had a blast!
The kids both had an amazing time at youth camp this year! I'm so thankful for the chaperones who took great pics of them!
The kids haven't had all the fun! I enjoyed a blissful couple of days home ALONE while the kids were on their mission trips (and Daniel was in New York for business) and goofed off with Jenna for a couple of days. Then I went with my neighbor friends for a local mini-girls weekend at a nearby hotel. Daniel went to Daytona for his old boss's retirement party while the kids were at youth camp, and at the last minute I decided to join him after we got his parents to keep Griffin! He went deep-sea fishing and I lounged on the beach.
