April Fun

 April was busy!  Daniel and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and had a lovely dinner out (we'll take a trip next month!).  

Avery also had her art show at her school and we LOVED her pieces that she worked so hard on!  One of her pieces won 3rd place in its category, and another one of them will be featured in a book written her art teacher and featuring work by all of the art students.

Avery's Field Trip and other school fun!

 Avery and her 7th grade class took a 2-night field trip to Austin and San Antonio!  They stayed at Camp Tejas (site of my old youth camp days!) and visited the Texas Ranger Museum, State Capitol, Bullock Museum, Alamo, and Riverwalk!  

The kids also had their Survivor Games at the annual Wylie Prep Fun Run!

Spring Break

We had a super low-key Spring Break this year...Daniel was busy with work, and Tracey and Kaelyn's Spring Break didn't coincide with ours (we usually go somewhere with them since they're in the same boat we are with a dad who works through Spring Break!).  I decided to take the kids and Sage, Logan, and Ellie to Fossil Rim for the day which was fun!  Then the kids and I went to Waco, stopping to walk around Baylor for a bit, and then going to Grammy and Papi's.  I snuck off to Jenna's for a bit, then we went home!
