Mr. Aidan Goes to Washington
Aidan's 7th grade class took a trip to Washington D.C. and they did so much! We missed him but he had a blast and learned a lot.

Halloween!
Our Halloween was very low-key this year! No pre-Halloween festivities, just trick-or-treating on the 31st. Avery was Rey from Star Wars, and Aidan was recycled his zombie football player costume from last year. I didn't even get a picture of them together since Aidan left with friends before Avery was dressed. But, they still raked in the candy and we also had two Incredible-y cute trick-or-treaters, my cousin Cole's boys Marley and Arlo!
Eagles in Action
Aidan had his last football game of the year last night! It was a tough game (their only loss) but it was a great season! Aidan spent most of the time on the sidelines with most of the other 7th graders, but I'm proud of his attitude and how well he supported his team!
Avery has been busy at school as well! She performed in three Wednesday chapels in a row: first with her class, then with her cheer squad (on her birthday!) and then with the 5th/6th grade choir. She also finished up the football season by cheering at a school-wide pep rally and two more varsity games!
Fun with Family & Friends
We went to Comanche for a quick visit to see Gigi, Coookie, and Jeff. We enjoyed a trip to the Comanche museum (that features a cabin build by Aidan and Avery's great great great great grandfather!), an early birthday cake for Avery, and church at First Baptist Comanche!
My cousin Tracey is having a baby and had a gender reveal party that we went to! One of my aunts/uncles and all of my cousins except one were there, plus Jason was in town for his high school reunion (minus Kelly and Hudson)! At first the confetti canons shot out pink confetti, but Tracey's sister-in-law who had the sonogram alerted everyone it was a mistake and the canons were mislabeled! Luckily they had some BLUE backup canons! We are so excited for a new baby boy, plus my cousin Jessica is pregnant too!
We went to a wig-themed birthday party for three of our old Wylie neighbors and it was so fun! I spent the night with Kimberly and had lunch with my mom friends the next day. I miss these girls!
I had Aidan's friend Connor show up for a surprise sleepover, and boy was Aidan surprised!
Happy Birthday Avery!
Avery kicked off her 11th birthday with breakfast on the red plate (a mac and cheese breakfast plate Daniel made!) and then cheered at the Pink Out pep rally for school. I had decorated her locker the night before with pics of some of her favorite "famous people" and then brought her Whataburger and cupcakes for the whole grade! After school she hung out with two girls from church and their small group leader. Unfortunately I was in a fender bender on my way to pick her up which made for a hectic afternoon but luckily it wasn't my fault and I'm just so glad she wasn't with me! I made her chicken fried steak for dinner, and a couple nights later she had Sage spend the night. She was supposed to have two other school friends over but she came down with strep that morning. We were able to reschedule the friends for the following weekend, but Sage wasn't afraid of a few germs! Happy Birthday Avery Kate!!
